Dear Jeanne,

The saline soaks were : 1/2 teaspoon salt dissolved in 8 oz boiling water
(then cooled, of course, before using). And they were soaks, not
compresses. Often moms use the little dixie cups, and yes, bend over the
ottoman, table or such - or sit holding little cups to their nipples for
five minutes. While not the most comfortable position, it is much more
comfortable then damaged nipples. We've had good success with it. We have
not tried the peroxide soaks yet.

I'd also like to hear more about the epsom's salt soaks. Can anyone
clarify this for us?

Also, I'm not strong on knowledge on the veggie medicine. Could someone
privately email me with what veggie is good for what problem and give
instructions for use? TIA!
