Sandy:  I'll leave the latch-on and sucking recommendations to our LC
experts, but I remembered someone (was it Marsha Walker?  I hope I'm
quoting correctly), saying that starvation does not make for a good
suck.  With the weight loss you described, I'd want to feed the baby EBM
or ABM by whatever means, i.e. cup, spoon or syringe, and then work on
