be reflected in oversupply in the mother?"

I believe this is quite possible. My theory is that baby fusses and is
unsettled due to intolerance or allergy, therefore wants to suck frequently
for comfort. Mother interprets this as hunger and feeds baby frequently,
which in turn stimulates an oversupply. I have seen this senario when a
baby was colicky from having her neck out of alignment from a very
traumatic birth, and she had stimulated an oversupply in her mother. After
chiropractic adjustment, she was a changed baby, and the supply settled
down easily. I am certain this could happen with allergies as well -
anything that makes a baby unhappy and want to suck a lot for comfort.
