In answer to Arly's question, the Association of Labor Assistants and
Childbirth Educators (ALACE), formerly Informed Homebirth/Informed Birth
and Parenting, which is based on the homebirth midwifery model is very
positive and accurate about breastfeeding. But I should tell you all that
not only am I certified through ALACE, I work for them as well, so this is not
a neutral reccomendation.
