I have a client who's menstrual period has not returned. Baby is 12 months
old now (as of 8/21/95). Baby is nursed upon demand but gets her share of
other fluids from a cup or bottle. Her appetite seems normal toward solids
for a 12 month old. (finger foods and the like) Client states that her pap
smear came back "negative". Should my client have cause to be concerned or
is this in the realm of "normal" for totally breastfeeding women for their
menses not to return for a year? Even I was "period-free" for 6
months.....but a year? No such luck.
Need some good advice.....TIA
