When I start my bf class I tell the participants that what I can cover in 2
hrs is the bare minimum.  Then I recommend several books (and show them) that
 they should read.  I tell them if someone asks what they want or need tell
them one of these bf book.  I go on to ask "how long do you expect labor and
del. to last?"  They answer 8, 12, 36 hrs. Then I ask "how long does bf last"
 And you get various months, yrs.  Then I compare the time they are in CB
classes and the measley 2 hrs in my class and they get the drift.
I agree with your post.
