Just wanted to add a little anecdotal information on nipple soreness
during ovulation.  I experience acute nipple soreness about the time of
ovulation each month with my second child.  I did not experience this
soreness after my first child except when I became pregnant with my
second child.  Thankfully, the soreness only lasts a few days, 1 week
max. I hope this helps!  Sorry I posted my last comment directed to you
