Hi all
I'm a few days behind in digests, but haven't seen a reply to these queries,
so I thought I'd put in my bit.
The relationship between breastfeeding and migraines may be due to oestrogen.
Many women find that they get migraines at particular times of the month, eg
when menstruating. Maybe the lower oestrogen levels during lactation would
explain the relief from migraines.
Kenacomb - this is an ointment (usually used for infections of the ear canal
in Australia). Its constituents are: triamcinolone (a steroid), neomycin,
gramcidin (both antibacterials) and nystatin (antifungal). It is blunderbuss
treatment when you're not sure what you're dealing with!!!
