I'm Amy Shelton and I'm a LLL Leader in Huntsville, AL. I've been a Leader
for just over a year, I have a 2 year old daughter named Abby, and I'm
expecting again and due on May 8. I have been learning a lot from this list!
I've been approached by the Healthy Families department of our local
Children's Advocacy Center. They would like me to speak to their pregnant
teens in hopes of convincing some, if not all, of them to breastfeed.
I need to come up with some sort of outline to forward to my Area
Professional Liaison before I give the talk. Does anybody have any
information on speaking to pregnant teens that they would be willing to share
with me? I know their needs and interests are quite different from those of
the late-20s and early-30s mothers I usually run across in LLL work.
I would appreciate any assistance as quickly as possible. They would like me
to come and give the talk within the next week or two if at all possible.
Thanks in advance,
Amy
