Dr. Whelan..you so eloquently stated " It's very discouraging to be lumped
together with those
physicians who may not be entirely ethical.  But, I assure you, there
are those BF zealots out there who just happen to be physicians. I for
one  would benefit from a few words of support occasionally, rather than
be subjected repeatedly to reminders that all physicians are not
"like-minded".

This is exactly why I posted my note about generalizations the other day.
Here on Lactnet, we make an effort to have this route of communication be
open to those who want to state their opinion.  However, to lump all
unethetical physicians with ethical ones, is inappropriate...ie throwing the
baby out with the bathwater.  We thank you for sharing your feelings...and
it is important that everyone understand that people are not just members of
one group or another..they are people first.
