I haven't seen too many babies that are strickly on br milk past 6 mo --
would that I would see a lot on ANY br milk past 6 mo -- but that wasn't your
question.  Re iron levels:  The one mom who's baby was refusing any and all
solid foods (was a psych issue, which was resolved) at 12 months did have a
low hgb, but not dangerously so.

What about checking hgb with a fingerstick periodically, and if necessary,
give iron supplements, and, of course, continuing to offer solid foods if
appropriate in this situation?

I bet our Martha, queen of trivia would know some definitive answers and
references, however.  Right Martha?
