I am a proponent (along with 6 other parent-l and/or Lactnet subscribers)
for a proposed new USENET group which would be called
misc.kids.breastfeeding.  If you are interested in reading the formal
Request for Discussion, you can find it posted on news.announce.newgroups.
All public discussion about the creation of such a newsgroup is to occur
on the USENET group news.groups.  I want to make clear that this proposed
group _would not_ be linked to any existing mailing lists.

I would encourage anyone interested in this proposal (pro or con) to
participate in the public discussion.  My thanks to Kathleen Bruce for
agreeing to let me post this short pointer.
