Kathleen,
I think that we all have a few "tarred" feathers in our hat. One thing's
for sure: we do learn from then, or hopefully so! But I do share your
mortification, because as a LLLeader, I am always aware that how I act
reflects on the organization as a whole. <sigh> Do you have an address?
Could you drop her a note after she has calmed down? I did that once
after a poor LLL meeting where I felt the mother had really been put in a
corner and might have been turned off. They may not ever come back, but
at least they will know that we are empathetic, if imperfect, people.
