When we rewrite the hospital's misinformation about breastfeeding, let's
not replace it with more misinformation.
Breastfeeding represents normal infant feeding, not superior infant feeding.
Breastfed babies are able
to enjoy a normal level of health. When we say that breastfed babies are
"healthier", we say also that bottle-fed health is "normal." It can be
tough to phrase things from a breastfed health perspective and still get
them approved, but it's important to do, or we're still stuck in a
bottle-feeding mindset. Indeed, the fact that it's tough to do ought to
tell us that we still haven't made a dent in the cultural mindset!
