Diane,
I didn't have the time to write to you about the tongue questions, but just
to let you know, you and your mom aren't the the only ones whose tongue rests
outside their teeth when they're at rest. Mine does, too. In fact, when I
was a baby, my tongue was always sticking out of my mouth because it is too
long! (Made for some cute pics tho!) I needed braces as a teen, because I
have such a strong tongue thrust that I developed an overbite. Even after
braces tho some of the overbite came back! I form consonants incorrectly tho
they sound normal. My tongue still makes its appearance in photos when I'm
not deliberately keeping it behind my teeth!
BTW, I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue too! :D I can also turn
it upside down and also curl it up so the sides touch!
More tongue games anyone? :)
Can anyone tie a knot in a marachino cherry stem? I haven't figured that one
out yet...
Jay
