Judy from Beer Sheva described almost exactly what happened to my son's
"Big Brother's" first child.  Mother got sore nipples and was told to put
honey on them, which she did. Baby then breastfed and ended u p with a
trach after botulism was dxed.  He nearly died.  Made all the papers.

Mother initially did not mention honey as it had "disappeared" before he
breastfed, according to her.  I questioned that, but could not prove it one
way or another.

Judy gave me additional thoughts that the mother might have become infected
and then given it to baby. She had one deep crack according to news
reports. (I did not see to confirm; this was before I was "officially an
LC" and our relationship was not one of client to LC.
