At our CALCA (ILCA affiliate) meeting yesterday, we heard an excellent speaker
by the name of Jacque Reiff, RN, BS, from the Barrow Neurological Institute here
in Phoenix. She describes her job title as Craniofacial / Skull Base Case
Manager. They work with correcting all sorts of infant head anomalies /
syndromes including Crouzon's disease, Apert's syndrome, Fifer's syndrome, most
including problems with premature closure of cranial sutures. Cleft lip /
palate also. The book you mentioned: Feeding and Swallowing Disorders in
Infancy by Wolf & Glass, she said is her primary reference and brought a copy
for us to scan thru. Here is the rest of the citation: Published by Therapy
Skill Builders, a div of Skill Builders, 3830 E. Bellevue, P.O.Box 42050,
Tucson, AZ, 85733. I don't know if it's available in or thru standard
bookstores or how much it costs. Several of our members have heard one of the
authors speak and were delighted to know she has written a book. We are
considering adding it to our CALCA library.
