I got a call today from a nurse whose patient is nursing a 2 month old , and was
hospitalized . She had an IVP yesterday, Sept 10th, and has been started on
Floxin 400 mg BID and is taking Mortab 7.5 mg q 6hours for pain.  She will be
discharged on 10 days more of Floxin tomorrow.  She has been pumping her milk
and discarding it.  Is there any new information about the Floxin?  Will she
need to discard all milk while she is taking this medication, and then discard
another 24 hours before she will be able to breastfeed?  Any information would
be appreciated.  Thankss.
