Dear Janet,

What an awful experience.  Most conferences aren't like that, so don't get
disheartened.  Why do I sometimes get the feeling that women treat other
women worse than men do?  Doesn't make a bit of sense to me, but having been
in nursing for at least a zillion years (today it seems like 2 zillion), I
have seen discrimination of all sorts in that field too....
