Beverly, your comments to moms who wean earlier than they planned remind me of
what I tell these moms--I remind them that breastfeeding--nursing--is a state of
mind as well as a physiological practice, and that even though baby may no
longer attach to the breast, mom is still "nursing." The nursing relationship
that is built when mom breastfeeds continues long after the milk stops....
