Hi All,

I have been watching all the notes about LAM and  feel that I need to mention
one thing.  The closest I have ever come to being sued was a lady who got
pregnant and blamed me  because she thought she was safe.

I was working for a large pediatric group.   This mmother asked me aboout birth
control.  I gave her my usual speech about using a barroir method along with
watching for signs etc.  I always chart these calls carefully and I is a good
thing that I did.  This lady was a nut.  She weaned about 2 days after our phone
call and got pregnant about 4-5 weeks later.  She went to her doctor for an
abortion.  She told her doctor that I caused this pregnancy.  That dr. told one
of the peds. that I worked for that he suggested the woman get a lawyer.  Well
after the Ped. and I talked and we looked at the chart and counted, he went to
bat for me & that was that.
