Hi Roberta,

Your method of answering everyone was fine with me. No problema. When I
posted to you earlier about using syringes for supplementing babies, I failed
to tell you that I, too use cup feeding sometimes. Some parents really balk at
using a cup for a neonate thinking surely that it won't work. When I have been
fortunate enough to convince them, it has been very successful. One of my star
pupils did beautifully adding cup feeding from milk she pumped, when baby
wasn't yet doing well enough to empty her breasts. Not only that, but she took
her cup with her to the ped and showed him. He was utterly amazed, but I think
we have now found a ped who is a convert.

Don't worry, you'll certainly get a chance to see electric breast pumps at
ILCA. Both Medela and Egnell is always there doing their thing. They'd
probably be more than pleased to let you get *hands on*.

See you soon in Scottsdale,
Yaffa
