I agree with Joan Fisher about usefulness of rinsing parts touched with
milk first with cold water before washing.

I make this recommendaton to all clients for all equipment they use that
might touch milk (such as tube feeding devices, pump parts, etc).  NOne has
found this to be a problem, and it does seem to help keep things really
clean.
