Several years ago I was having problems healing following one of the many
surgeries on my hip. I was nursing my 18 mo old at the time. I was told that
BF was causing my muscles to be too lax  and was robbing Ca+ from my body so
it wouldn't seat properly and why it was dislocating. Needless to say I
didn't wean.

Within 2 months they discovered the problem was due to incorrect placement of
the prosthesis. It had healed so well (even robbed of Ca+) that they had to
break my femur below the stem and twist it into the right position. AJ nursed
until he was 3.
