Commments on the anti-inflammatory properties of ibuprophen
remind me of a call from a physician , recently returned to work,
and bfing and pumping who developed "a plugged duct and significant
engorgement". Her decision was to use ibprophen because of the
anti-inflamatory properties which she felt would help her
condition while reducing her discomfort. I had never heard of
this...she said that the next day she was much better...cool compresses
and different positioning were also used which may have effected
the improvement.
Are there any thoughts on the specific use of ibuprophen for
mastitis, engorgement, obstruction? Thanks.
