Yes, Yaffa, I was referring to Orthodox Jewish women re: cultural
taboos of nursing during pregnancy, and I agree with you from
what I have seen.
I have a further question for the Net, a slightly different spin
of Yaffa's comment about the Israeli client who was told by her
mother that she would "poison the fetus" if she bf while
pregnant: I have been asked by concerned Israeli women whether
they should continue bfing during pregnancy because of possible
hormones in breastmilk due to the pregnancy. They are worried
about harming their nursing toddler by passing on estrogen and
progesterone. Could I please hear on this ASAP? Thanks, Judy
