Hi, Karen, it's perfectly normal for the stooling frequency to decrease
around 6-8 weeks.  Is the baby still growing well?  (Should still be
gaining an ounce a day at this age.)  If yes, then I don't think you have
a problem!  On the other hand, in our clinical experience, lots of
women report a decrease in their milk supply within a couple weeks after
starting oral contraceptives (even progestin only, which I assume this
mom is on).
