Ed,
 
   I have been told by my extension agent that BT is completely safe for
 honeybees.  I specifically asked him for a safe and natural pesticide and
this is what he recommended.  Honeybees have an "acid stomach" which can kill
the bacteria if it enters their system, the same as in humans.
