Fascinating reports of breastfeeding helping to ward off peanut or cow's
milk protein allergy.
I seem to recall that there has been some research done which appears to
show that starting solid foods early (before 6 months) or exposing the baby
to peanuts while still breastfeeding helps to offset allergy. I also
recall that there was some funding question, perhaps that the peanut board
of (I think it was) Israel was behind the study. Hazy though.
