I don´t have experience specifically with infants with Noonan, but as with
other congenital diseases the key is not the "name" of the disease, but how
it manifests in each individual infant. Does the infant you are working
with have micrognathia, arched palate and/or a short neck? Focus on working
to attain a deep, effective and comfortable latch using the usual
strategies for those difficulties; protect mother´s milk supply; supplement
if needed with the most appropriate method for that dyad...
When I started working in this field and asked a similar question, many
years ago, a wise person on this list told me "don´t be scared by the
disease, be there for the baby."
