Hello all,
I looked over the WBW action folder and see that it names certified lactation consultants*, but no mention at all of IBCLC's, leading to confusion in differentiating them from certified lactation consultants (which may be a CLS, CLC or CLE).
Nor are IBCLC's named in the long list of "Healthcare Actors" which includes, "breastfeeding counsellors, breastfeeding support groups, certified lactation consultants, community health workers, doulas and traditional birth attendants, family doctors and general practitioners, midwives and nurses, nutritionists and dietitians, obstetricians, paediatricians, policymakers in health systems/ healthcare administrators.

Hi!
Sorry I was very brief in my comment.
In Spain, at least, a circle with an upper arrow pointing to the right is
the universal symbol for man/male (as a circle with a cross pointing
downward is the symbol for woman/female). So to the breastfeeding community
here, the logo was very surprising - even after reading the WABA
explanation, which is lovely and speaks of something necessary and in
which, of course, males have a support role.
It was just kind of stark to people here.
