If you have Breastfeeding Atlas, they discuss clumpy milk (p. 97, 6th ed)
as likely a by-product of mastitis, but they do not name which particular
microorganism is the culprit.  I would be advising a parent about mastitis
symptoms, including the absence of fever in some people.
