Dr. Seeley has not yet tested whether the mite control afforded by keeping
bees in a single Langstroth hive will also work if they are kept in a 1-1/2
tall hive.  I'd be interested in the results if any on the List test it,
harvesting honey from the medium super, and seeing whether the hives
survive varroa.
