But Pat, we didn't have chem strips. And you don't have a problem unless you have symptoms or have something to check it quickly. Bilirubin wasn't as big a deal either -- my sister was sent home from the hospital in 1957 known to one and all as "Little Buttercup." (And she is the smartest of the four of us -- maybe it did her brain some good???).
