Yikes, Pete, that would mean I shouldn't have bees on the edge of the Boreal Forest. But I do, and I will continue. These are tough critters, but we have our losses, admittedly. The reward is worth the pain. And they don't do so poorly, they are superlative when they survive. My challenge is finding that sweet spot; why some thrive and some fail. My beekeeping mission;what do I do to maximize survival of my bees and success in this endeavour of beekeeping? Keep reading Bee-L of course...and pay attention to the bees.
Best regards,
Brian
