Dear Lactnet Friends:
If the rash only appears with MER, I'd wait to see what else happens. It
might just be a funky weird thing.
What did upset me is a newborn receiving an antibiotic whose side effects
are kidney injury....how will the course of this baby's life change with
its microbiome wiped out? Why 2 antibiotics?
Yes, the kidney infection needed to be treated...and how does a newborn get
a kidney infection? Treating symptoms doesn't explain what is going on.
warmly,--
