Dear Mary,
I feel the same way. I am so tired of "It's just breastfeeding." No, it 
is more than that. I am helping to save lives and build stronger 
families, communities, and the environment. We know about the health 
benefits. I am helping to build a stronger microbiome for that baby and 
help with epigenetics for the baby and the mother. I am preventing 
cancer, heart attacks, to name a few. Breastfeeding is the start of 
everything good.
So, yeah, I am passionate about breastfeeding.
Of course for many mothers, breastfeeding doesn't work out. But the vast 
majority of those cases could have worked if they had help from me, the 
crazy, breastfeeding lady. Because I am passionate about breastfeeding I 
am an information fanatic.
I am a breastfeeding nerd the same way that people are alternative 
energy nerds.
I believe breastfeeding is designed to work the great majority of the 
time and I can help.
I am trying to save the world one mother and baby at a time.
I believe this is important.
Rant for the AM!
