We are a local hospital and encourage mom to slow down bringing her milk to
hospital when we have a better idea when infant is being discharged.This
helps eliminate the craziness on day of discharge when everyone can be so
frazzled.
We follow up phone call to mom if she does leave milk behind after
discharge. I always tell them their milk is precious and we would hate to
discard.
Have had no issues.
