Struggling to find definitive directions for using telehealth for Lactation Visits. My employer is resistant, partly because they want the families to come in for in-person visits and it is billable, but if the families refuse due to Covid-19 concerns I would like to be able to connect and view position/latching, etc. My current understanding is that we will not be able to bill for these as I am an RN-BSN, IBCLC. It seems HIPAA regulations have been eased with online formats, but how about legal issues and consent for visits? I searched, without success, the IBLCE and USLCA websites for updates on this topic. I would appreciate any suggestions or references
