Dear Lactnet Friends:
Polly wonders why she cringes when coworkers tell her she's passionate
about breastfeeding.
Probably because they are intending it as dismissive, as if one can't be
rational when one's emotions are engaged.
Flip it: "Passionate? Yes, I am. I love my work and am proud of that. What
are you passionate about?"
