Hi Stephanie,I appreciate your response but I am interested in why
your feel that the paper is anti-trans health. As I mentioned, I think
it is the opposite. It is fine if you prefer not to answer.Karleen

Dear Karleen, bless your heart for asking:
Dear Stephanie,I am guessing that your post is a response to me
sharing my detransitioner case study paper. I am wondering why you
feel that the paper is anti-trans health? I would argue that it is the
opposite If you are able to share, I would appreciate it.Karleen

The answer is easy: You are a trans-denialist, a person openly against
transwomen being considered women and mothers. You have not studied
transwomen from a positive or mental wellness perspective.
While this particular paper is giving information about one person, we
all know case studies one can't be equated to all.
People identified as female at birth also have breast surgeries which
they love or regret, have hormone therapies which they love or regret,
also have poor lactation outcomes, which is a relief or they will
regret. Of course there would be people who regret transitioning.
Cultural humility in lactation means to see the person from their
stance and support their decisions, without personal opinion on their
decisions.
I'd love to see more adoptive nursing research from you. My pre-med
students learn about some of that from your research, with added
traditional teachings of the benefits of skin to skin contact with all
parents to promote healing, trust, and to become emotional centres for
their children. It's a beautiful and spiritual way for the entire
family to connect and love.
For those reading my response: Here is a great article to read.
