 I always remember the old guideline  of double birth wt by 6 mo and triple by 1 year.  Have no idea where that came from (possibly old days of formula feeding) however , it usually seems to work fine. On my WHO chart of weight for length she is not at 15th percentile- maybe 18-20th.

A crucial question is birth wt and length and then there is what one of our techs always told moms - you don't make elephants out of mice.  In other words petite parents......
How about sitting without support.?.  That should be happening by around 9 months.


another problem I have noted is that some offices are using computer programs that panic parents unnecesarily.  I'm old. I like real paper charts, LOL.  Pat in SNJ
