maybe this info would be useful for you to use for working moms in your area. Wonderful work of Ellen Maughan and her committee.
The NJBC just uploaded to our website employee and employer fact sheets on the new state law that protects breastfeeding employees in the workplace and requires pumping breaks and a private place to pump in close proximity to the work space. Please feel free to use these and distributed them widely:

From our partner, the NJ Time to Care Coalition:
--On May 2, Gov. Murphy signed the Earned Sick and Safe Days bills into law. See the NJ Time to Care Coalition Press Release .
--The Coalition is now pressing for expansion and improvement of the Family Leave Insurance law. See their fact sheet here
--The Coalition is also looking for stories from workers who needed to take leave but lacked job protection. If you have a story to share, you can contact them through their storybank outreach link
For breastfeeding advocates who work with public health officials to develop safe infant sleep policy:
You can now access the recording here for Walking the Line Between Public Health Messages and Lived Experience: Constructive Conversations and Unlikely Alliances, the third webinar in a series on safe infant sleep offered by the Southeastern and Southwestern Injury Prevention Network in partnership with the Safe States Alliance. Terri Miller from the Georgia Department of Health shared her story about the positive working relationship that developed between public health and maternal and child health in relation to Georgia’s Safe to Sleep Campaign. Linda Smith, co-author of Sweet Sleep: Nighttime and Naptime Strategies for the Breastfeeding Family, shared her perspectives on the balance between women and baby’s need for sleep, nourishment, safety, and closeness. Jane Herwehe of the Louisiana Department of Health provided final commentary on the webinar series, connecting each presentation back to the Multi-Sectoral Influences Matrix (M-SIM).
