Hi Julie,
I did this some time ago (actually quite some years ago!) in a paper Gribble KD. The influence of context on the success of adoptive breastfeeding: developing countries and the west. Breastfeeding Review 2004;12(1):5-13. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17004343/
What I found then is that factors other than medications used seem to be most important in terms of milk production- specifically confidence and frequency of breastfeeding. While there has been more research published since this time, I do not believe that there is anything that materially changes the conclusion.
