True that, but your assumption that I was offering the LD50 for the average person is correct

That would kill me, if I just drank it right down.

More toxic, the LD50 is less. The point is, salt is more toxic than glyphosate, which is more toxic than alcohol. However, one is far more likely to get poisoned by alcohol -- say, at a frat party -- than either by glyphosate or salt. Imagine consuming a half pound of salt, I don't think I could keep it down. On a darker note, suicide by organophosphorus poisoning is common in India.
