Jessica,
I can only speculate, and I am really reaching here. Perhaps her thrush
symptoms and sinus infection are masking a "subclinical" mastitis? And
after mastitis many moms definitely notice a supply decrease, sometimes
permanent.
My other idea is that the left side was the overproducer, so perhaps she
ended her pumping sessions or feeding sessions before the breast was fully
drained, especially if she was double pumping, and so then the feedback
loop started to affect production on that side.
To get it back would recommend hands on pumping, paying attention to full
drainage of the affected side.
