At the Albert Einstien College of Medicine from which I graduated we actually
had the prayer you quated attributed the the RAMBAM (the hebrew for
Miamonides - I never get the English spelling of this right).
For a breast surgeon in New Jersey - same recommendation as Alicia (we are
both at the same medical school)
From personal experience there is a difference in the Lactina vs. the
classic. For the first 4 months of pumpin I was using the Lactina without
difficulty as it was lighter. Then I started having problem gettin the
session started. I would hav to manuall pump to get things started. As I now
pump only night and morning and do not have to carry it I switch to the
classic and now have no pumping problems.
In this months (May) issue of Pediatrics is an article on the complications
of dorsal penile block - just to show everything has risks and benefits.
