This question is for any LC/Nurse that works with postpartum mothers in a non-delivery hospital facility:

All of our NICU patients are transported from delivery facilities and their mothers/families follow them here when they are discharged from care at the referring hospital (many at PP days 1-3). We are working on a program to better support our postpartum families and I would really like to hear about any current postpartum programs that are happening in similar facilities. Would also like to see suggestions to improve breast milk expression initiation rates for stand-alone NICU facilities. Thank You!
