A case was recently posted on another list of a mother who breastfed her first baby without incident, and then when number two comes along, the milk comes in very poorly with no obvious things to hang one's hat on... in this case low prolactin has been identified, but the cause is a mystery so far.
How many of you have dealt with cases of lactation failure after previous success, with no identifiable health changes, surgeries or other incidents to blame?
