I am curious about this baby's muscle tone?  Does he relax in other positions? Can mother lay him on his back for any length of time? What does he do in tummy time?  Certainly the oral restrictions may be playing a part but the flexion pattern makes me think there may be more going on.  Not an answer but more avenues to explore.  Glad to wear my OT hat for a moment.
